Essential Concepts of Internet Marketing:
Many have wondered how to make money online before and probably Googled keywords such as “how to make money online”.
I’m here to tell you that today it is possible to do such and the purpose of this blog post is to share the in’s and out’s of what works and what doesn’t.
So let’s get started.
What doesn’t work or at least too well.
-Just blogging about anything-
You’ll want to be a master of your craft so pick something to blog about that will help others but at the same time where you are fully credible and know what you are talking about.
Yes you can research certain topics to write on.
However if you know your stuff I believe you are the best source for that information.
-Blogging about things that you haven't researched enough on-
Google likes filler content and quality content at the same time. So you'll need to make sure that the proper research is there on the products features, pros and cons, and how it will overall benefit the user.
-Jumping from niche to niche-
This can be tempting, but I would suggest going after 1 to 3 niches that you are well versed in and leave it at that or at least starting out.
What works?
-Proper Keyword research-
I like to utilize AI tools like Chat GPT for producing keywords with low competition for niches and products that are in need of content. You were led here today by the keyword "Essential Concepts of Internet Marketing" as that was one that I researched that had low competition.
-Utilizing a website tool builder you are comfortable with-
I like WiX which this site is built on. However one can utilize WordPress, Squarespace, just to name a few and/or Shopify for selling physical products.
-Working with a niche that you love-
It's almost always better to write about something you are passionate about and know a lot on rather than having to do the research on something you don't know much about. This helps with originality in posting and sounding more core in your knowledge and credible.
-Backlinks-
These are huge as you need them to help organically rank your website for the keywords/niches that you are going after. Do not use old school link farms. However being able to utilize solid backlinks to credible sites is helpful.
-Calls to Action-
It's always important to have a proper call to action for either selling your product or harvesting an email to build up on with an email list.
-Build and email list-
The old saying "It's all in the list" I believe still holds true. If you can sell upfront on your website is one thing. However, having your email list to sell to afterwards will help too.
